what would persia be like in winter, does it snow ?
persia ?, i guess not.. (P)
perhaps the sands turn white
i really want to see the desert at night! (P)
how fuckin cold is it! (P)
you have really clear skies
no clouds, all stars
and the sand glitters like silver in the moonlight
i'll take my girlfriend.... (P)
you mean the princess ?
perhaps you could come by my place
i'm at the big oasis
you can spot my fire from a mile away
and u have a camel...tied outside your tent (P)
the wood crackles, the wine flows, the food glows
i'm there as long as the sun is not
you burrow in the sand during the day (P)
i am the sun you see
i am ra
amun-ra
the one with the birds face (P)
during the day, you wouldn't be able to look at me
so i invite you to a night of dining, drinking, singing and dancing
all the worldly pleasures ill give you at night
and in the day ill give you life
oh great ra... (P)
thank u... (P)
winter is near, i'm getting weaker
oh noble prince, a favour i desire
when i'm the weakest on the 21st day of december
i fear but only a small number
these were my own whom i had banished
and into the thin air the vanished
but these forces on the dark side
in the dark night...me they guide (P)
in the deepest cavern they hide
they fear me, fear my light
but secretly await a chance to fight
for centuries they have waited this day
so they could finally have their way
they will strike when the night is darkest
to flee, they will be the fastest
for an hour i shall helpless remain
all my power lying in vain
whats that hour? (P)
in this hour i need you o prince
this will wash away your sins
Amun-ra was God of Egypt not Persia. Bakton and Maaya were the God and Goddess of the Sun in ancient Persia.
