November 26, 2009 will be sadly remembered in history as the dark day when Mininova, the single largest torrent site was taken down. The Dutch anti-piracy outfit Brein took Mininova to court in where it was ruled that they take down all torrents or face a penalty of €5 million. As of now, the site has stopped hosting all copyright infringing torrents and is only providing free content distribution.
This is nothing but a huge conspiracy led by the American movie studios and recording labels. They are paying and forcing nations and organizations to kill the last few independent souls out there. Just the way they killed Axxo and tried taking down PirateBay and Demonoid.
The time is upon us. Make a stand.

BtJunkie doesn't host a single torrent file.
ReplyDeleteNobody and no group uploads their torrents there.
It only indexes torrents hosted by other sites like Mininova and Pirate Bay.
It doesnt update them in months and always shows wrong, outdated tracker status.
Except for dead torrents, which it has plenty.
Well now that mininova's down piratebay's the leader i guess!!
